Monteith's Dog Derby - Thursday 22 June, 12pm
The Monteith's Dog Derby is one of the longest-standing events on the Winter Festival calendar, with 2017 being its 43rd year, and it is still one of the most popular. Originally just for farmers and their trusty sidekicks, it has now opened up to all dogs and their best friends . . . come and join the fun running and sliding down the slopes.
Macpac Mountain Bikes on Snow - Saturday 24 June, 10.30am
Does wheeling your way down a snowy obstacle course sound like fun? Of course it does! Macpac Mountain Bikes on Snow is back with men and women competing for loads of prizes. Get your adrenalin rush and enter now.
Opening of Night Skiing - Saturday 24 June, from 4pm
Head to Coronet Peak for the opening night of Night Skiing for the 2017 season! A DJ spinning the sounds and the bar and restaurant open until 9pm, you’ll want to join the party. Add an Auckland Airport Suitcase Race and Olympus Bobsled Championships for the adrenalin junkies and we have an awesome night ahead!
