As a professional engineer Steve has had a varied career from saw milling in the Coromandel to managing finances at the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. After a 5 year “OE” with his wife Katherine, Steve returned to Queenstown and worked for a locally owned tourist reservation software system.
Steve returned to engineering as General Manager for a boutique structural engineering and architectural design consultancy. Steve is currently the Project and Operations General Manager for The Headwaters development in the picturesque village of Glenorchy at the head of Lake Wakatipu. The Headwaters includes Mrs Woollys General Store and Camp Glenorchy the first Net Zero Energy campground in the world.
Steve lives on a lifestyle block near Glenorchy, where he is the co-founder of the local home brew club, deputy chairman of the Community Association, secretary for the Glenorchy Community Trust, and a trustee for the forming Glenorchy Trails Trust.
