Zero Waste Policy

Queenstown is beautiful and we wish to keep it this way.  We are working towards becoming a Zero Waste event and are committed to minimising rubbish and maximising recycling through a number of environmental initiatives implemented throughout the 10-day Festival period.  This includes the Festival Office and the team at Central Otago Copiers ensuring that all our copy cartridges become rulers which are then distributed to our local school - neat! Zero waste is the target and that relies on everybody, so please make sure all recyclables and rubbish go in the right places.
