Time Toooo...Say Goodbye...Day 11

No, no, no don’t wake up…that was not an alarm..you’ve got plenty of time…just keep sleeping….reality check…gutts it was the alarm time to pack up and ship off…

Before any packing takes place we wander down to our spot in the dining room to enjoy our last breakfast. Lisa has been eagerly waiting all week to have the pancakes, and I have my usual eggs bene. It’s a very sad morning. My buddy Jimmy The Dwarf joins us and unluckily has to endure us moan and groan about having to go home today.

We slowly head back up to our rooms to pack..goodness knows how we managed to fit all the gear we brought down. Lisa has a moment, as she realizes that I had efficiently packed her bag for her on the way down and things just weren’t fitting – of course I had a great motive to re-pack and organize her bag – I wanted to fit an extra bag in her bag…So now I had a problem as she was flying to Chch and I to Akl what was I to do with this extra bag? Luckily, at this moment packing came to a hault when our team buddy arrived to serenade us off…Good old Mark providing a must needed decoy to go back to the lounge and delay the trip back to Akl… Next decoy..we decide to delay the Limo to pick us up a half hour later…It’s all good we will still make it in time…

The packing continued...Then it was Time “Time toooooooo say Goooodbye” it really was just like here in Step Brothershttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR6Z6q8RjBs&feature=related but without Brennan and Dale..you see it was just Lisa and I and we didn’t actually sing the song..we just thought it as we were leaving…well I was..I don’t think Lisa knows the song…and were not step sisters..well we are like sisters but…anyways…where was I…So we were saying goodbye…

There were lots of goodbyes to say at the Dairy..to our awesome rooms, the dining room, the lounge with a roaring fire that we took over everyday, the library, and to the most amazing hosts in the world Matt and Paul who had become accustomed to our daily losing of our room keys rituals…We probably hugged Paul and Matt a little bit too long…Luckily they know us really well now so it was totally appropriate…See you guys again soon!!! I hope they realize that The Dairy is now our home away from home…Don’t be surprised guys if you waltz in one day and we are in “our spot”.

We loaded into the limo and sulked the entire way to the airport.. En-route Lisa reached into her pocket only to find her room keys…oh golly gosh!!! Matt and Paul will have a laugh at this one..Luckily our driver has said he will drop them back for us…Phew…

Checking in required some bag management and then it was off to Koru Club, in true Lisa and Jo style – we had 10minutes in here before it was time to split up and take our separate flights…

We had a moment….and then it was Asta la vista las mujeres jóvenes Lisa…see you in a few days and Queenstown as said in Avatar..."I see You"

I arrived in Akl….grabbed my bags and a shuttle home….what a trip…one word EXTRAORDINARY!! I went to change and low and behold what do I find…………..no way………….Yes we had done it again……………What falls out onto the ground…MY ROOM KEYS FROM THE DAIRY!!! STREWTH!!! There you go Matt and Paul, here’s a final laugh for ya both….just saying though that could be a sign?????
