36 years on and still going strong, there’s plenty to get excited about with loads of mountain action, street parties, fireworks, charity boxing, live concerts, comedy, theatre, family fun and a great mix of internationally acclaimed performers and home-grown acts. This year’s programme is packed full of Festival favourites, a couple of ‘golden oldies’ back by public request, as well as an injection of fresh new events. We have a stage floating on the lake, the American Express Ice Box which will play host to some great acts, a Mardi Gras that will blow your socks off, a downtown rail jam, the best Masquerade Ball ever - and that’s just in town! Up on the mountain you can catch loads of winter action with mountain mayhem, dog races sensational skiing and boarding and superb live entertainment.
