24-year old Czech violinist Josef Spacek winner of the prestigious Michael Hill International Violin Competition (2009) currently studies with Itzhak Perlman at the Juilliard School in New York City.  Part of his generous prize package is a national Winner’s Tour and he will be joined by New Zealand’s legendary Michael Houstoun on the piano for an appealing and enjoyable recital.
